Signs your drain field is failing
Soggy ground or standing water over the field, grass that's suddenly greener there than anywhere else, sewage smells in the yard, and drains that slow down or gurgle all point to a field that can't keep up. A failing field doesn't fix itself, and waiting usually makes the job bigger.
What's included
- Looking at the site and the existing system to see what's really going on
- Trenching to the approved layout
- Gravel and perforated pipe set at the right depth and slope
- Connection back to the tank and distribution box
- Backfill, grading and cleanup
New fields and replacements
For a new build, the drain field goes in as part of the full system. For an existing home, a replacement field is often the fix that keeps a good tank in service. James will tell you straight whether you need a new field or a repair, and what it'll take.
